I have nightly builds installed, in part becuase of xrandr compatibility
issues with the stable version and in part to help with the debugging process.

After this update I have three problems:

1) The session is randomly disconnected after some idle time.
2) Attempts to resume fail with authentication complaints.
3) The Mate background is now tiled as a bunch of 800x600 panels
instead of one large image.
